A little background on Daniel. While Daniel was in the hospital for 341 days, music was found to be a large part of his healing process from the start. His father sang to him and they constantly had music playing on a stereo in his room. Afterwards, Daniel started music therapy classes after being released from the hospital, the transformation in him was so incredible the family started “Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF), a not – for – profit organization which provides free music instruction to individuals with disabilities of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds in the five boroughs of New York City.
